In partnership with the Provincial Secretariat for Labor, Employment and Gender Equality, the Government of AP Vojvodina, Regional Development Agency Backa is implementing a project called "Through training to employment (TTE): New modules within the Educational Training Centre for Professional and Working Skills", in the frame work of the second call for proposals of the Regional socio-economic development 2 (RDEPR2) program.

The main objective of the project is to contribute to the creation of new employment opportunities in the territory of AP Vojvodina, which will be implemented through the planned project activities, ranging from the Center capacity building, organizing and providing education and trainings for the project’s target groups, conducting analysis, promotional activities and other project planned activities.

In order to efficiently achieve the above mentioned goal, the Government of the AP Vojvodina established The Education Training Center for professional and work skills required by employers, whose main role is to, as efficiently as possible, reduce the consequences of slow changes in the educational system and provide training for specific educational profile.

The lead partner of this project is the Provincial Secretariat for Labor, Employment and Gender Equality. The project partners, in addition to the RDA Backa, are Vojvodina CES, the Regional Development Agency Srem and the Regional Center for Socio-Economic Development Banat, Education Training Center for professional and work skills, Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce, University of Novi Sad - FTN and Technical College of professional Studies Novi Sad.

The project was approved by the The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia in the year 2010 and it is in the implementation phase.
The total value of this project amounts to 576.784,00 EUR, and the project has an implementation period of 24 months.
