Inclusion of Civil Society Organizations in climate and energy policy making, implementation and monitoring at local level

Regional Development Agency Backa, as an associate, is involved in the implementation of the project entitled "Inclusion of Civil Society Organizations in climate and energy policymaking, implementation and monitoring at local level" which is supported by the EU Delegation within the framework of the program - the Support to Civil Society (EuropeAid/130847/L/ACT/RS).

The main objective of the project is the development of energy strategies (plans) according to the model prescribed by the Mayors Agreement through greater participation of the public in the development of strategies and building capacities of civil society organizations in AP Vojvodina and the Republic of Serbia, which participate in the creation of various development policies, thus having a significant impact on the environment and, in particular, on the development of local energy plans.

The project was nominated by the CeSID (Center for Free Elections and Democracy), which is also the lead applicant of the project, while partners on the project are Kula and Vrbas municipalities and citizens association CEKOR from Subotica.

Project Associates involved in the implementation of this project are Regional Development Agency Backa, Regional Development Agency Srem and Vojvodina CESS.
