Within the third call for proposal CBC Hungary-Serbia, Regional Development Agency Backa, in partnership with the University of Szeged, municipalities of Morahalom and Ada, as well as with the Agency for the Development of the Municipality of Temerin, nominated the project entitled „Cooling Cubes-Integrated spa development strategy for the spas situated in the area of the main traffic route through the Hungarian – Serbian cross border region”.
The main objective of the project is the development of integrated strategy for the development of spas that are located in the vicinity of the main road on the stretch Budapest - Belgrade. Appropriate situational analysis, harmonization of spas development concepts, transfer of experience through workshops, forums, conferences and research will be carried out for the purpose of strategy development. Project activities include 30 spas from Hungarian and Serbian side, in order to improve their positioning in both regions.
The total amount of funds granted for the implementation of project activities is 117,440.00 €. The project activities will be implemented within a time period of 16 months starting from March 2013.
