The Final conference of the Adriseismic project

Representatives of the Regional Development Agency Bačka attended the Final conference of the project "New approaches for seismic improvement and renovation of Adriatic and Ionian historic urban centers - ADRISEISMIC" which took place on 17 January 2023 in Bologna. The host of the conference in whose premises this event was held was one of the project partners – the Institute for Vocational Training of Construction Workers in the province of Bologna - I.I.P.L.E.

Among those present at the conference, in addition to the representatives of the project partners, there were also representatives of the professional public from Italy, and on that occasion all the results achieved during the implementation of the ADRISEISMIC project were presented. Also, a meeting of all project partners was held, where the final activities of the project were agreed, given that its implementation is nearing its end.

As a reminder, the implementation of the ADRISEISMIC project began on 1 March 2020 and is scheduled to end on 28 February 2023. In addition to the Regional Development Agency Bačka, seven partners from five different countries from the Adriatic-Ionian region participated in the implementation of the project. The main focus areas were the historical urban centres and historical squares and their surrounding buildings, conceived as symbol of local identity and socio-economic cores for the ADRION settlements. The main goal was to ensure the reduction of seismic vulnerability of the cultural heritage.
